• Sunday through Saturday, Job Purpose:
• The Sales Associate at Habitat Charlotte Region is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and supporting the sales team in achieving sales targets. This role involves engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and offering suitable solutions to enhance their shopping experience. The Sales Associate plays a crucial part in promoting the company's values and contributing to the overall success of the store.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs to provide assistance and information on product features.
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively communicate benefits and features to customers.
• Assist in achieving sales goals by actively promoting products and upselling when appropriate.
• Ensure the sales floor is well-organized, clean, and visually appealing to enhance the customer shopping experience.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, providing solutions and escalating issues when necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.
• Participate in inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting inventory counts.
• Support promotional activities and special events to drive customer engagement and sales.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all safety and security standards.

Qualifications

Required Education:
