The Registered Nurse II supervises the day-to-day wellness clinic as well as the nursing staff. Works with the Health and Wellness Manager to ensure proper staffing of the wellness clinic. Share on-call responsibilities with the Health & Wellness Manager. The Registered Nurse II assists in the medical care and treatment of students; t akes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration rates, dresses wounds and assist with student physicals.

Administers specified medication and annotates time and amount on patient’s chart; m aintains charts for trainees seen by medical personnel . Assembles, sterilizes and uses various medical equipment and supplies Qualifications State Registered Nurse’s License and one year’s experience as a practicing Registered Nurse.

Active, unrestricted license to practice in Washington D.C. Prefer two or more years of experience; valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred. Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.
