Stores Clerk/Driver

Summary of Key Responsibilities: ◾ Load catering vehicles with all carts and service items for aircrafts ◾Service aircrafts to ensure on-time departures, including all galleys and forms ◾Carry out deliveries for all departments ◾Assist in the preparation of documentation for the release of all incoming items from customs or cargo, as necessary ◾Assist in the accomplishment of storing, shipping and receiving of aircraft parts, tools and equipment, in accordance with company and regulatory authority requirements ◾Package all outgoing items in approved shipping containers, and properly blank parts as necessary ◾Provide support and assist in the routing of outgoing containers and documentation to the cargo department for shipment ◾Monitor and maintain, at all times, the proper storage conditions in the aircraft Bonded Stores and Tool Crib climatic conditions, ventilation, storage racks, spacing and cleanliness etc.

Monitor shelf-life limitations and ensure that stock rotation is practiced ◾Maintain at all times the Bonded, Quarantine, Goods Out and UREC sections of the stores in a clean, tidy and organized condition ◾Receive unused parts credited to stores and route to Quarantine Stores, in accordance with company procedures ◾Update the Computer Inventory System and company records as directed by the Supervisor, Stores Requirements Qualifications, Skills & Experience: ◾Minimum of High School Diploma ◾Working knowledge of computer applications ◾Basic general knowledge in Airline Operations Procedures ◾Committed to promoting airline operational efficiency to Cayman Airways ◾Ability work independently and under pressure Special Conditions ◾Possess valid Cayman Islands Group 4 Driver’s License ◾Must have the physical stability to stand for long hours, ascend and descend stairways, and lift heavy parcels and baggage up to 70 pounds ◾May be exposed to the elements of extreme heat, rain and subject to noisy conditions ◾Able to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays Benefits Health Insurance, Pension, Life Insurance and Travel Benefits.
