Hydroform Operator

Reports To: Production Manager Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following; other duties may be assigned. Aligns work piece on machine. Lubricates parts in accordance with work instructions. Operates hydroform to perform desired operation. Observes pressure gauges and height settings to ensure properly set and that hydroform is running in accordance with setting.

Dimensionally and visually inspects parts to ensure they meet customer's requirements. Keep work area clean at all times following 5S methods. Performs required preventative maintenance procedures on assigned presses within specified time frames. Ensure that all preventative maintenance is performed in accordance with PM schedule.

Education and Experience

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High School Diploma or GED; 0-2 years of demonstrated experience for Level 1 Hydroform Operator, 2-5 years of demonstrated experience for Level 2 Hydroform Operator, 5 or more years of demonstrated experience for Level 3 Hydroform Operator.

The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, stoop, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to drive and operate a Forklift.
