Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager will manage a set of accounting activities to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, corporate policies and external audits.

Essential Functions

Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness Analyze financial reports Maintain account balances and bank statements Assist with audits and taxes Prepare financial reports for taxes, regulatory agencies, and stockholders Manage general ledger and assist month-end and year-end close processes Manage the budget process Oversee regulatory reporting, frequently including tax planning and compliance Develop and monitor business performance metrics Assess current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing Provide management with information vital to the decision-making process new processes Coordinate and preparing internal and external financial statements Assist manager in understanding processes and interpreting financial information for successful, departmental results Follow and promote Columbus Hospitality’s Core Values
