Job description
ACDC Express is looking for a dependable and hardworking Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our customers and employees. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily cleaning and housekeeping of the store, offices, kitchen, restrooms, and storerooms while ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and maintain the sales floor, offices, storerooms, kitchen, and restrooms. Sweep, mop, dust, and clean windows, shelves, counters, and floors. Wash dishes and clean kitchen appliances. Ensure the kitchen is stocked with essential refreshments. Replenish restroom supplies, including toilet paper, hand towels, and other necessities.
Keep the store entrance clean and welcoming. Maintain high housekeeping standards throughout the store. Greet customers politely and provide friendly service. Follow all company health, safety, and cleaning procedures.
Requirements
Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent. 1–2 years' cleaning or housekeeping experience. Experience in a retail environment will be advantageous. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail. Reliable and trustworthy. Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties. Clear criminal and credit record. Legally authorised to work in Namibia.
