What You'll Do

Provide spiritual and emotional support to hospice patients and their families. Offer compassionate guidance that respects each person's faith, beliefs, values, and spiritual preferences. Support patients and loved ones as they navigate the challenges and transitions associated with end-of-life care. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary hospice team to help meet the unique needs of each patient.

What We're Looking For

A degree from an accredited theological school is preferred. Experience providing counseling or spiritual support to individuals from diverse religious and spiritual backgrounds. Knowledge of the religious and spiritual communities within the hospice service area. The ability to connect with and support patients and families from a wide variety of backgrounds.

An understanding of and commitment to the hospice philosophy of care. Willingness to participate in on-call coverage. A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and state-required auto liability insurance. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. The ability to work independently, manage responsibilities effectively, and maintain a professional, respectful, and positive attitude.
