As a Branch Manager, you'll be the head and heart of a frontline banking team that loves to exceed the expectations of local customers, whilst playing a hands-on role in a community you're proud to call your own.

Inspiring a team of customer service, sales and business specialists, you’ll set the standard for the Westpac Group experience – and it'll be an exceptional experience at that! You’ll be the driving force behind your branch’s success – holding financial, risk and operational accountability – ensuring customer advocacy is at the heart of all you and your team do.

You will recruit, coach and elevate your team to deliver a superior banking experience, ultimately contributing to the branch's, and our customers’, success. Westpac Group’s Port Lincoln site is a ‘hub and spoke’ offering, serving our Tumby Bay community also, so weekly travel to this branch is required with KMs reimbursed.

It is also one of Westpac Group’s co-located branches, where BankSA and Westpac brands come together in a single physical location, enabling them to work alongside each other to continue to invest in and support local communities. Co-located branches are easily recognisable with both brands on display. This is a full-time, branch-based role and the hours are across and inclusive of Monday to Friday.

How will I help? Hold accountability for compliance and risk management – build a culture of doing the right thing Take ownership of resolving customer concerns effectively and efficiently Drive customer acquisition , service and retention – building genuine connections with our customers and the community Lead and uplift frontline staff through training, mentoring and performance management Drive results that have a clear, positive and direct impact on overall branch performance – with responsibility for profit and loss What do I need?
