• Beaver, PA, Salary Range: $20.00 - $20.00Hourly, Job Category: Grocery, We are hiring a Full and Part Time Butcher/Meat Cutter for our Shop n’ Save, a St. Barnabas entity, on Tuscarawas Rd in Beaver, PA. Individual must have meat cutting/wrapping/butchering experience. Job Duties:
• Cut or grind meat per department manager's request
• Assists with stocking meat case according to Meat Manager’s plan for product presentation and merchandising.
• Follow all guidelines on the proper techniques of cutting and/or preparing items for placement in the display cases.
• Monitor all product expiration dates and ensure that all items are properly rotated.
• Monitor products for any damaged, un-saleable, or returnable products that should be removed and follow proper procedures for damage claims.
• Accurately count and record merchandise as part of the inventory process.
• Promote new items and weekly specials through effective merchandising and creative displays.
• Quickly unload and sort incoming shipments and neatly stock them in their designated areas without damaging merchandise.
• Neatly stock department shelves by matching item UPC codes to shelf tags and ensuring products are front facing for customers.
• Fill department cases
• Assist customers with requests and/or questions
• Cleans and sanitizes area throughout the day.
