What You'll Do

Prepare nutritious, high-quality meals according to approved menus, recipes, and portion guidelines Ensure meals are prepared and presented in an appealing and appetizing manner Accurately follow therapeutic diets, texture modifications, and physician-ordered dietary requirements Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment in accordance with health and safety regulations Monitor and document food temperatures and ensure compliance with food safety standards Prepare pureed and modified-texture foods that are both nutritious and appealing Assist with meal service and timely food distribution Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, workstations, carts, and food preparation areas Collaborate with dietary staff and interdisciplinary team members to support resident satisfaction Report resident concerns or changes in dining needs to leadership promptly Assist with orientation and training of new dietary team members Complete assigned daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules Support dietary operations and step into additional responsibilities as needed What We're Looking For Previous cooking experience required; healthcare, skilled nursing, or large-volume food service experience preferred Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment A positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and commitment to teamwork Passion for providing excellent service and enhancing the resident experience Why Join Us?
