Medical Asst Float-Gen Surg/GI/ENT

Job description The Medical Assistant will support specialty practices by performing a variety of clinical tasks with moderate patient interaction. Working within a team of providers and assistants, this role focuses primarily on clinical duties to ensure efficient patient care and smooth operation of the facility, however, cross-training to be able to support registration or check-in is a plus.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Measure and record vital signs accurately Maintain and update medical records Schedule patient appointments efficiently Record and update patient medication lists Other duties as identified by clinic lead or manager Desired Qualifications Certificate in Medical Assisting Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of experience in medical assisting Friendly, approachable personality Strong patient communication abilities Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
