Hospitality Assistant - Cleaner

The Role You will be part of a team dedicated to our residents, contributing to a model of care that goes above and beyond every day. Every day you will be making a difference in people’s lives, building fabulous relationships with our residents and their families. Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and maintained at a high standard at all times Vacuuming, mopping and polishing floors Dusting, polishing and general tidying Cleaning bathroom facilities Attending to residents' personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables and other equipment or furniture located in the residents' room Assist with the provision of a safe, efficient and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and adhering to infection control practices.

Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required Laundering, pressing/ironing and folding items such as linen towelling and residents’ garments Cleaning/kitchen cloths, mops and garments, Utilising washing, drying, extracting, pressing, folding or other industrial machines/equipment, as required Collection and distribution of personal effects mistakenly sent to the laundry To be successful, you will have: Previous aged care or hotel services experience desirable Availability to work a combination of days Monday, Wednesday, Saturday is required.

Willingness to take direction from others Reliability and shift flexibility Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc) Pre employment checks; complete a National Police Check About this location: Located in Waterford in Brisbane’s growing southern corridor, Bolton Clarke’s Talbarra community provides high-quality aged care in a friendly, secure and comfortable residential environment.
