Job Description We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a key role in developing low-level firmware and embedded control systems for our advanced hardware platforms.

Requirements

Main Responsibilities Develop real-time embedded firmware, HAL, BSP, bootloaders, and low-level peripheral drivers (I2C, SPI, UART, ADC, DAC, DMA, Timers). Write robust C/C++ code targeting ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers in both bare-metal and RTOS environments (e.g., FreeRTOS, Zephyr). Participate in hardware-software integration, board bring-up, and production debugging.

Collaborate closely with hardware design, system architecture, and photonics teams to define firmware requirements and interfaces. Interpret electrical schematics, PCB layout files, and component datasheets to independently own and test firmware modules.

Qualifications

& Requirements B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline. 10+ years of experience developing real-time embedded firmware, HAL, BSP, bootloaders, and low-level peripheral drivers. Strong C/C++ programming background targeting ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers in both bare-metal and RTOS environments.

Deep understanding of RTOS fundamentals, including task scheduling, concurrency, inter-process communication (IPC), mutexes/semaphores, and interrupt handling (ISRs). Ability to interpret electrical schematics, PCB layout files, and component datasheets. Extensive experience in hardware-software integration, board bring-up, and production debugging.

Star Candidate Advantages Experience with high-speed communication protocols and optical transceivers control. Background in Python scripting for automated testing and lab setup. Familiarity with FPGA integration and embedded Linux environments.
