Wallpaper Apprentice - Grow Into a Specialty Trade

🚀 Just Finished School or Starting Your Career? Want a Skill That Actually Pays Off? If you’re early in your career and thinking “I don’t just want a job — I want to build something I can get good at” … this is for you. We’re a local painting company adding a Wallpaper Apprentice to our team — and this is one of those rare chances to step into a skilled trade where you actually learn something valuable, hands-on, from day one.

At Lux. Brush Painting Company , we don’t just hire workers — we train craftspeople. So what is this really? Ever looked at high-end interiors and thought: “How do they get wallpaper to look that perfect?” “Is that a real skill or just something people figure out?” “Could I learn something like that and actually build a career?

” That’s exactly what this role is. You’ll start as an apprentice working side-by-side with experienced installers learning a trade most people never even get exposed to. 🔧 What you’ll actually be doing Working on real residential and commercial projects Learning wallpaper installation step-by-step Measuring, cutting, and pattern matching (this is the craft part) Prepping walls so finishes look flawless Using your painting/prep skills in high-end finish work Keeping job sites clean, organized, and professional Seeing your work instantly show up in real homes and businesses This is hands-on work — not sitting around watching someone else do it.

🎯 Who this is perfect for This could be a great fit if you’re thinking: “I want to learn a real trade, not just bounce between jobs” “I like working with my hands and seeing results” “I don’t mind physical work if I’m learning something valuable” “I want a career path, not just a paycheck” Painting, sanding, patching, or job site experience helps — but it’s not required.

We’ll teach you the wallpaper side if you bring the right attitude. 🧠 What matters most here Are you willing to learn something new? Do you care about doing detailed, quality work? Can you show up on time and be dependable? Do you take pride in what you build with your hands? Skill can be taught. Work ethic can’t. 🎓 Why this is different Most entry-level jobs feel like you’re just “helping out.

” This one is different. You’re learning a specialized trade skill that can turn into: Advanced installer roles High-end finish work Long-term career in skilled trades You’ll actually see your progress in real time — wall by wall, project by project. 📍 What we’re looking for Some painting or prep experience is a plus Interest in wallpaper/finish carpentry style work Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Detail-oriented mindset Dependable and punctual Comfortable with ladders and physical work Driver’s license preferred Bottom line If you want: A real skill Real hands-on training And a career you can actually build on …this is worth a conversation.

Apply and let’s get you started in something you can grow into, not out of.
