Job description: In support of U.S. Military Logistics Operations stateside and abroad, we are actively recruiting talented team members to join our Reservists Corps of skilled tradesman. Although contract awards have yet to be made, we are aligning our workforce needs in advance of current and active opportunities, in anticipation of future deployments.

We are currently seeking experienced Diesel Power Plant / Generator Service Technician able deploy and service industrial power generation systems. This is a unique opportunity to make great income and be part of essential missions that directly supports federal operations. Experience working on federal or military supported contracts is desirable but not required.

GREAT PAY – SCA wage scale+, Fringe pay, plus extensive overtime REQUIRED 12 hr. days / 7 days / week (84 hrs.) MUST be able to deploy quickly – preferably within 24-72 hours MUST pass comprehensive federal background check MUST pass drug test REQUIRED US PASSPORT and/or REAL ID for travel Preferred Qualifications Well versed in troubleshooting and repair of industrial diesel generators Responsible for maintenance aspects for diesel powered equipment onsite, including power generation systems Experience in Standby Power Generation systems - installation, diagnostics, and repair ASE Master mechanic Automotive, ASE Medium / Heavy Truck diagnostics and repair Former military training with international experience is desirable but not required OSHA safety training is desirable Location: TBD Key Responsibilities Perform duties of a lead power plant operator and mechanic (High Voltage), including daily inspection of high voltage power plants.

Power plants may include Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, LTD, Caterpillar, or other diesel generators checking for any leaks or unusual sounds and readings that may impact performance and uptime. Perform technical inspections on MEP-mechanical, electrical, plumbing for site fuel systems and controls, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, load testing and refueling of Cummins, Kohler, Generac, MTU generator engines, AC alternators, automatic transfer switches, manual transfer switches and associated items on backup power generators and fuel systems.

Provide basic, moderate, and intensive maintenance and repairs to facility’s mechanical fleet, power plant generators, refrigeration freezer plants for cold storage, furnaces, etc. This includes in-field repairs and on-call services and support 24 hours a day.
