Facility Manager - Property & Building Operations

Are you a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives on keeping operations running smoothly and building strong client relationships? We’re looking for a Facility Manager to join our team. In this client-facing role, you’ll oversee day-to-day operations for a portfolio of office, retail, or the common areas of residential properties, managing budgets, maintenance, and relationships with landlords, tenants, residents and service providers.

You will coordinate with technical contractors and vendors and full training is provided on our systems and governance processes. What You’ll Do Manage day-to-day operations for assigned properties, including maintenance programs and service contracts. Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and service providers, responding promptly to their needs.

Oversee budgets, expense tracking, and financial documentation for each property. Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules and liaise with engineers and contractors on building systems (e.g., generators, chilled water, automated systems) — hands-on technical expertise is not required. Manage the tendering process for building maintenance contracts, ensuring compliant procurement and quality service delivery.

Support governance for residential developments (condominium complexes / gated communities) and similar ownership structures (training provided). Ensure compliance with safety standards through regular checks. What We’re Looking For 2+ years’ experience in property management, facility management, hospitality, or a similar client-facing operational role.

Strong organizational, financial, and communication skills — written and oral. Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). A team player with a flexible, hands-on approach to problem-solving. Degree or diploma in Property Management, Hospitality, Business, Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred Prior exposure to building systems (generators, HVAC, automated systems) is an asset but not essential; training provided.
