The mission of the Backend System Development Team is to design and develop the humanoid AI platform "LUDENS," which serves as the foundation for the virtual human agent "Rachel.

Cortex: Handles natural language processing Insight: Interprets meanings and conducts searches Ludens Analytics: Performs data analysis Role of the Senior Backend Engineer We are seeking individuals who can develop and operate backend systems that handle large-scale data.

In addition to development and operations, the Senior Backend Engineer will collaborate with Engineering Managers to enhance the team's overall technical capabilities and productivity. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical leadership, followership, and advanced expertise. Specific Responsibilities Development and Operation of Backend Systems: Develop and operate various Web APIs and data processing pipelines for the humanoid AI platform LUDENS.

Tasks include specification formulation, system design, coding, testing, and operations. Technical Leadership and Team Enhancement: Foster technical leadership and followership within the team. Conduct code reviews and other activities to improve the technical skills of team members. Enhance the organization's technical capabilities and productivity.

Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with Engineering Managers and stakeholders (Product Managers, Project Managers) to lead technical aspects within projects. Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle. Problem-Solving with Advanced Expertise: Utilize advanced expertise to solve high-difficulty challenges in assigned projects and products.

Experience in designing, developing, and operating modern backend systems using serverless architecture. Experience in creating and utilizing design documents (Design. Doc) for technical specifications and architecture design. Experience in sharing and reviewing design documents within the team, incorporating feedback to optimize designs.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in building infrastructure using cloud services. Experience in designing large-scale, high-availability systems. Experience in developing and operating products or services using machine learning. Experience in developing and operating products or services using Large Language Models (LLM). Experience in developing and operating products or services using search engines.

Experience in developing and operating products or services using vector databases. Experience in developing and operating products or services using event-driven architecture. Experience using collaboration tools like Jira to track design and development progress, and conducting processes to update and revise design documents each sprint.

Experience in technical leadership within a development team. Desired Personal Traits Ability to lead the development team with high technical skills.
