Nurse Supervisor - RN - Day Shift (Scotia Village)

NURSE SUPERVISOR – SCOTIA VILLAGE Scotia Village, a division of Kintura is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) with a mission to "honor God by creating experiences that enrich lives and touch hearts while exceeding the needs of a diverse population of older adults and the team that serves them." . We are looking for a Nurse Supervisor to lead in our Household Model by directing and/or providing clinical care to residents. Our household model consists of 16 residents.

Responsibilities

include, but are not limited to the following duties: Provide leadership to clinical staff on specific areas of clinical accountability i.e. infection control, safety, wound management, falls, RAI process. Supervise Nursing Staff Assure regulatory compliance by encouraging appropriate record keeping and charting Quality Improvement measurements MDS Assessment process Care plan development and implementation process Conduct care plan meetings with residents and families Pharmacy system, med and treatment administration monitoring, MAR PREP Maintain a working relationship with physicians and other medical personnel for quality clinical care The successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community officials, State officials, and the general public.

Knowledge of Long Term Care Federal and State rules and regulations including Medicare and Medicaid. Must have a current North Carolina Registered Nurses License.
