Civil Engineer

Description INTECH Process Automation is seeking a seasoned Civil Engineer to join our Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team. The Civil Engineer will be Responsible for planning, engineering support, supervision, and quality assurance of civil works supporting instrumentation and ICSS installations. Ensures safe execution, technical compliance, constructability, and effective coordination of brownfield site activities.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and supervise civil works supporting instrument and ICSS installations. Review civil drawings, specifications, calculations, method statements, and work packs . Supervise construction of foundations, concrete works, rebar, trenches, supports, and equipment bases . Review and coordinate drainage, underground services, access, and temporary works .

Verify dimensions, levels, materials, workmanship, and installation quality against approved requirements. Coordinate civil interfaces with Instrumentation, ICSS, Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, and Operations . Support brownfield surveys, site verification, tie-ins, modifications, and installation activities . Identify and resolve site constraints, technical issues, clashes, and constructability concerns .

Coordinate inspection, testing, punch-list clearance, and civil work acceptance . Monitor contractor performance, progress, resources, and compliance with approved methods and schedules . Maintain inspection records, technical reports, as-built information, and work documentation . Ensure compliance with Company standards, project specifications, HSE requirements, and quality procedures .

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Minimum 7 years’ experience in Oil & Gas or industrial projects, including at least 3 years as a Civil Engineer . Strong experience in civil construction, foundations, concrete/rebar, trenches, supports, drainage, and temporary works . Experience supporting instrumentation, ICSS, equipment, and brownfield installations .

Ability to interpret civil/structural drawings, specifications, calculations, and method statements . Knowledge of construction quality control, inspection, testing, and material compliance . Experience with site surveys, field verification, constructability, and technical coordination . Strong coordination with Engineering, Construction, Instrumentation, ICSS, Operations, HSE, and contractors .

Good technical reporting, problem-solving, and communication skills. Working knowledge of Company/project standards, HSE, PTW, and quality requirements .
