The Iowa Department of Transportation is looking for an Accounting Intern to join the Project Management Bureau. In this role, you will be exposed to several project management cost accounting systems. You will also work with project ledgers, cost centers, object codes and the interconnected accounting systems used to capture project activity.
You will perform reconciliations, compliance auditing and identifying allowable and eligible costs as well as calculating State, Local, and Federal share of costs of multi-party funded projects.
