About The Role

Commercial Manager Contract Length: Until 18/12/26 Location: Predominantly remote with flexibility (typically attend the London office once per week, usually on Wednesdays) IR35: Inside Pay Rate to Intermediary: £529.95 per day Security Clearance: BPSS Spinwell is recruiting for a Commercial Manager for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES

OF THE COMMERCIAL MANAGER Lead large procurement projects. Engage with internal stakeholders and suppliers. Develop procurement strategies and supporting documentation. Attend project, stakeholder and team meetings. Work closely with legal teams regarding commercial terms and conditions. Support contract and framework management activities.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCES OF THE COMMERCIAL MANAGER Significant procurement experience, particularly within services procurement rather than construction or materials. Public sector procurement experience. Experience leading large and complex procurement exercises. Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills. Procurement strategy development and market analysis experience.

Ability to manage procurement evaluations and commercial negotiations. Confidence working with legal teams on terms and conditions. Self-motivated and capable of working independently. Strong communication and influencing skills. SAP Ariba experience (not essential as training can be provided). Experience managing frameworks and supplier relationship management.
