Case Former

Case Former Reports To: Shift Supervisor Schedule: 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Shift | Weekdays, Weeknights, and/or Weekends Job Summary The Case Former plays a key role in the packaging process by forming the correct number of cases, inserting bags, and supporting packaging line operations to meet daily production demands. This position ensures packaging accuracy, quality, and food safety standards are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities

For all assigned tasks, ensure compliance with product quality standards and food safety requirements. Immediately notify QA of any deviations. Primary Duties Include: Form the appropriate number of cases based on packaging demand Insert bags into cases accurately and efficiently Assist coworkers in the packaging area as needed Provide line support during employee breaks and lunch periods Operate a pallet jack safely Read and understand measurements to ensure proper case setup Maintain a clean, swept, and organized work area Perform sanitation tasks during shutdowns or plant breakdowns Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Leader and/or Supervisor Follow all company safety rules, GMPs, and policies Qualifications & Requirements Skills & Abilities: Strong attention to detail Ability to lift 25+ pounds Comfortable operating a pallet jack Basic technology proficiency Ability to read and understand measurements Ability to traverse stairs, ladders, and lifts Comfortable working in a noisy and cold environment Knowledge Requirements: Understanding of SDS locations and how to read them Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and BRC standards Commitment to safety, health, environmental, and company policies Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required) Experience Minimum 1 year experience in a food manufacturing environment Working Conditions Fast-paced production environment Exposure to noise and cold temperatures Flexible scheduling required (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift; weekdays/weekends as needed) If you are detail-oriented, safety-focused, and ready to support a high-performing production team, we encourage you to apply today.
