We are looking for passionate self-starters eager to take on real-world challenges and drive meaningful impact. As part of a collaborative team, you will work alongside traders and quantitative researchers to develop models that identify alpha, execute trading strategies, and analyze market behavior. Throughout the 10-week program, you will gain hands-on experience while contributing directly to XY Capital’s success by deepening our understanding of financial markets and enhancing our trading capabilities SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Studying for an undergraduate, master’s, or PhD in a STEM subject Suitable for students graduating in Summer/Winter 2027 or Summer 2028 Excellent understanding of research methodology and techniques Proficiency in Python - including Data Structure Engineering, Pandas, Sci-Kit Learn, XG Boost, Tensor Flow and/or similar libraries Any ADRs/GDRs, dual-listed securities, US ETFs or EMEA equities trading/research experience would be a bonus Experience working as a part of a small, highly collaborative team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A proactive, ambitious, tenacious, team player Proficiency in English is a must Must have a right to work in the United Kingdom for duration of the internship Must be available during the internship full-time WHY WORK WITH US Fully stocked pantry Invited to join weekly trading and research meeting with a chance to present your ideas Be considered for a graduate role following the internship INTERVIEW PROCESS All applications will be carefully reviewed and if you are selected to proceed to the interview process it will follow the below stages: Online numerical, analytical and programming test 1 x Technical interview with team members 1 x Final interview with management Deadline: 16 Oct 2026 (Friday) 9:00am London Time
