It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing! The Manager, BU Contract Administration manages day-to-day Contract Administration for assigned projects. The role is responsible for tender preparation, contract execution, claims and variation administration, cost monitoring, payment coordination, documentation and final-account activities, while ensuring compliance with Group Contract standards.

Key Outcomes Delivers timely and accurate pre- and post-contract administration. Maintains reliable project cost and contract information. Ensures claims, variations, payments and final accounts are properly assessed and documented. Supports project delivery through effective contractual and stakeholder coordination. Identifies and escalates material contractual and commercial risks.

Maintains complete and audit-ready project contract records.

Key Responsibilities

Tender and Contract Administration Prepare or review tender documents, scopes, cost estimates, bills of quantities and pricing schedules. Coordinate tender clarifications, evaluations and contractor interviews. Prepare Letters of Award and contract documents. Ensure contracts include the required scope, specifications, drawings, payment terms and contractual conditions.

Claims and Variation Management Assess contractor and consultant progress claims. Prepare and review variation orders, EOT-related documentation and supporting records. Evaluate contractual entitlement, measurement and cost impact. Prepare recommendations for further review where required . Project Cost Control Monitor contract sums, approved variations, pending claims, payments and final-account position.

Maintain project cost and commercial trackers. Identify cost variances, overclaims and unsupported submissions. Support value-engineering and cost-control activities. Contract Compliance and Documentation Monitor compliance with contract terms, SOPs, approval requirements, bonds, insurance and warranties. Maintain accurate project contract registers and records.

Ensure documents are complete, approved and audit-ready . Follow up on outstanding contractual obligations and approvals. Stakeholder Coordination Coordinate with Project Implementation, Project Planning and Development, Finance, consultants, contractors and Group Contract. Attend project and site meetings on contractual and commercial matters.

Clarify documentation, claim, cost and contract requirements. Report project contractual risks, outstanding actions and cost exposure. Team Coordination Allocate and review work performed by Assistant Managers and Executives where assigned. Provide technical guidance and feedback. Monitor completion of team deliverables.

Support the development of junior team members. Experience Requirements Minimum 6–8 years of experience in Contract Administration or Quantity Surveying. At least 2–3 years in a supervisory capacity.
