Responsibilities

Design Zero Trust and TIC 3.0-compliant security architecture across VAEC, AWS, Azure and OpenShift. Lead RMF and A&A packages to obtain and keep ATOs (SSP, POA&M, continuous monitoring) per VA Handbook 6500. Set standards for secure development, encryption, logging, ICAM/PIV and identity federation. Coordinate with VA ISOs, the Office of Information Security and Field Security Services.

Track ATO status across the product line and report it monthly.

Qualifications

13+ years of experience, including 10+ years in cybersecurity and 5+ years on FISMA/RMF (Expert / Level IV or well-qualified Senior / Level III). Led ATO packages (SSP, POA&M, continuous monitoring). Zero Trust, TIC 3.0 and VA Handbook 6500 requirements. Desired Skills: Security architecture for AWS, Azure and OpenShift.

ICAM/PIV and identity federation. Working with VA ISOs and the Office of Information Security.

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity or a related field. CISSP-ISSAP and CISSP-ISSEP. Clearance: Must be able to obtain a Tier 2 / Moderate Risk Public Trust and a VA PIV credential. Location: Remote, USA.

Pay Range

The suggested pay for this position ranges from $110,546 to $125,875. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses. TISTA associates are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits plan!
