Front of House Manager

Description The Friendly Toast is a unique “all day brunch and bar” restaurant with an eclectic, scratch-made menu. Requirements

Overseeing daily restaurant operations, including managing staff and ensuring high-quality customer service Hiring, training, and scheduling employees to ensure adequate coverage and optimal team performance Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations Collaborating with the executive chef to develop and maintain a diverse, scratch-made menu that exceeds guest expectations Providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all guests and team members Evaluating employee performance, providing feedback, and implementing performance improvement plans as necessary Qualifications: Experience in restaurant management, including experience in hiring, training, and supervising employees Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and fostering a positive workplace culture Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Knowledge of health and safety regulations and experience managing inventory and ordering supplies Passion for scratch-made food and commitment to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all guests and team members Working Conditions Hours may vary as managers must fill in for his/her employees or if emergencies arise.

Ability to perform all functions at the restaurant level, including delivery when needed. Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies weighing 45 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion. Work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment as well as operating phones, computers, printers, and other office equipment.
