Coordinator for the After School Intervention Program

KEARNY PUBLIC SCHOOLS SUPERINTENDENT'S BULLETIN #39 Coordinator for the After School Intervention Program Internal Applicants Only Application Deadline : October 20, 2026 REPORTS TO: District Supervisor of Federal Programs PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS: Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the After School Intervention Program.

The coordinator duties for these programs will run from November 2026 through to March 2027 and will include being available from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm on program days. DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Preparation for the launch of the programs: student selection, material distribution, creation of class rosters, and schedules;
• Development and coordination of teacher intervention training;
• Create, collect, and organize time sheets;
• Communication with parents related to student enrollment, progress, behavior issues, and attendance;
• Organize and host family orientation meeting and family engagement evenings related to the program;
• Ensure that assessment data is completed and collected for all students;
• Set up reminders for parents;
• Record keeping and organization of program materials and paperwork;
• Coordinate the completion and distribution of student reports for parents.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must hold elementary teaching certification and have experience working with struggling elementary students;
• Staff development/ in-service presentation or project management experience preferred;
• Supervisory certification preferred;
• Second language (Spanish or Portuguese) preferred;
• Familiarity with Genesis and G Suite preferred. REMUNERATION: Remuneration will be a stipend of $6,616. This program is funded by Title I.
