Assistant Branch Manager

Assistant Branch Manager – Argent Credit Union About the Role Argent Credit Union is looking for a service-minded leader to help our branch team give members an excellent experience. In this role, you’ll support the Senior Retail Manager in leading, coaching and scheduling branch staff, and you’ll also work directly with members to deepen their relationship with the credit union.

What You’ll Do Help supervise daily branch activities, including work assignments, scheduling and staff coverage across all service channels Coach, motivate and develop team members to meet branch and individual performance goals Keep branch operations running smoothly by monitoring systems and equipment, resolving issues and planning for downtime Perform all branch functions as needed, including opening and closing the branch Help members with deposit accounts, consumer and mortgage loans, debit cards, automatic payments and online banking Assess members’ financial needs and recommend products, services and promotions that fit them Resolve member complaints and errors, help prevent fraud, and build long-term member relationships What You Bring 3 years of lending or customer service experience at a credit union or other financial institution Supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership 1 year minimum Strong communication, coaching, conflict resolution and sales skills High integrity and a team-first attitude College degree and solid computer skills preferred Work Environment This is an office-based role.

It involves regular standing, walking and reaching, plus occasionally lifting items up to 25 lbs.
