Job description
Are you an experienced tree planter looking to take on more responsibility in the field? Our Tree Planting Staff play a key role in supporting and ensuring the success of daily planting operations. These hands-on opportunities combine leadership support, logistics coordination, quality control, and operational assistance to help crews work safely, efficiently, and productively.

- Salaries range from $230-$400/day based on experience, plus production bonuses! Seasons/Terms
- Join us for some or all of these options! Spring/Summer planting season runs from early May to mid-July (up to 50 planting days). Fall planting season runs from Mid-August to Late September (up to 30 planting days). Cone picking and other opportunities may be available in early August as well. Locations: We are looking for local crews based out of Central, and Southern New Brunswick with various daily pick-up locations. We are also looking for crews that will be based out of our camps and/or motels. Crew Leaders: Leading a crew of 10-14 tree planters with energy, focus, and accountability Promoting and enforcing safety standards to ensure a safe work environment at all times Maintaining high planting quality through regular coaching and follow-up with planters Managing daily job site operations, including logistics, troubleshooting, and crew coordination Driving productivity by motivating your team to meet or exceed daily production targets Tree Runner/Planting Logistics Support: Support Crew Leaders and planters with daily operational tasks Set up and manage caches for tree storage and supplies Deliver trees to planting sites and manage inventory of full and empty tree trays or boxes Water trees and monitor hydration needs in the field Maintain and troubleshoot equipment (skidders, pumps, vehicles) Assist with logistical coordination and field communications Ensure safety and efficiency in all aspect of field operations Previous tree planting experience required Leadership or crew supervision experience considered an asset Must be able to obtain a Class 4 Driver's License Strong understanding of planting quality standards and field operations Excellent communication and teamwork skills Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges Physically fit and capable of working in demanding outdoor conditions Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and environmental stewardship What We're Looking For: We're looking for individuals who lead by example, take initiative, and enjoy helping others succeed. The ideal candidate is experience in tree planting operations, thrives in a fast-paced outdoor environment, and is motivated to support both crew performance and operational excellence.
