Pharmacy Technician

Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Job Status: Full Time Shift: 1st The Pharmacy hours are 8AM - 8PM and Saturday/Sunday: 8AM-4:30PM. Weekends and Holidays on rotating.

What you will need

High school diploma or GED equivalent, preferred associate or bachelor’s degree State of Michigan Pharmacy Technician as a Temporary Licensure upon hire. Must achieve Pharmacy Technician Certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) within 5 months of hire. Minimum six months of pharmacy work experience.

What you will do

Prepares, packages, and distributes medication orders per physician/pharmacist request, or prearranged work assignment. Complete ASHP didactic learning modules as assigned. Achieve a passing score on all quizzes and test related to ASHP didactic learning. Complete all experiential learning activities as assigned. Provides customer service to medical professionals.
