Full-Time Probationary Psychologist (Ongoing Recruitment)

DESCRIPTION: Ongoing Recruitment: Seeking highly qualified, student-focused candidates for probationary district psychologist positions. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of childhood development, diagnostic assessment & interpretation, knowledge of learning processes, instructional interventions, implementation of & assessment of their effectiveness (RTI & MTSS).

The successful candidate will be skilled at working with families and the school team to develop comprehensive academic and behavioral plans to enable students to be successful in the general education setting.

Responsibilities include

collaboration and chairing the district CSE/CPSE; contributing to program development that furthers continuum options within the district; coordinating and collaborating with district behavioral specialists in crisis intervention development; behavior intervention plan development; collaborating with out-of-district placements; and other duties as assigned.

LOCATION: Rush-Henrietta Central School District � Various Schools SALARY: Per Rush-Henrietta Central School District Teachers' Contract.

QUALIFICATIONS

New York State Certification as a School Psychologist is required. Prior experience as a school psychologist is preferred.
