Production Technician
Job description
Job Title: Production Technician Reports To: Production Supervisor Hours: Monday-Thursday 4-10’s Starting pay 18.00 per hour (some overtime) Position Summary: The Production Technician 1 is responsible for GMP-compliant processing and packaging of all products at Medi. Natura Inc., as well as for all other production-related processes.
This position also works at assigned stations on a production line, following both written and oral instructions. Primary Position Responsibilities: Work assigned station on the production line following verbal and/or written instructions Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment to ensure safety and efficient operation Complete required documentation neatly and accurately Ensure products are being made according to specifications and report any defects to Production Management.
Responsible for washing and sanitizing production parts and equipment when assigned Must comply with the current Good Practices (cGMP’s) for drug products as defined in the Code of Federal Regulation, Title 21, Parts 210 and 211, SOP, and company policies in all work Hand package, assemble, or seal products as instructed, when necessary Clean and sanitize the production area/workstation before and after a production run Add/mix and load ingredients for processing into machinery Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
Reinforce department and company policies to promote and support a positive work environment Willingness to work flexible hours, including possible mandatory overtime. Other Responsibilities: Assist in inventory management and material handling. Perform any other duties assigned by management Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Skills and Experience: High School diploma or GED Basic math skills, such as addition, subtraction, and the ability to use a calculator Willing and able to immediately adapt to changes in policies and procedures Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Able to stand/sit for extended periods of time. Attention to detail and commitment to quality Valued but not required skills and experience: Previous work experience in a clean room and laboratory Minimum 2 years’ experience on a production line Experience and aptitude in machinery assembly and adjustment Proactive approach to problem resolution and problem-solving ability Strong mechanical and technical skills Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 10 hour shift x 4 days Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Work Location: Albuquerque,.
