Family Visitation Specialist

Description Are you passionate about helping children and families build stronger, healthier relationships? AMHC is seeking a compassionate and dependable per diem Family Visitation Specialist to support and supervise family visits in a safe, positive, and family-centered environment. In this rewarding role, you'll help children maintain important family connections while coaching parents, promoting positive interactions, and ensuring child safety and well-being.

What You'll Do

Supervise family visits in accordance with court orders and service plans. Create a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for children and families. Coach and encourage parents through positive role modeling and parenting support. Observe family interactions and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with DHHS, community partners, and support teams.

Transport children and provide services in homes, offices, and community settings. Complete documentation, maintain case records, and participate in required trainings.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be at least 21 years old. Valid driver's license, reliable insured vehicle, and willingness to travel throughout the service area.
