Senior Superintendent (Commercial Construction)

Senior Superintendent We are seeking a Commercial Construction Senior Superintendent to join our growing team! You will oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to our quality standards. This role involves managing teams, schedules and resources to ensure the successful delivery of construction projects Responsibilities: This role involves managing teams, schedules, and resources to ensure the successful delivery of construction projects Oversee subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely and accurate project execution Collaborate with project managers to develop and implement construction schedules identifying the critical path including the expediting of scheduled critical materials and equipment for their timely delivery to site; Develop and managing the overall site safety program as required and ensuring subcontractor compliance with Curran Young standards and all applicable safety codes and regulations Conduct Regular site inspections to monitor progress and resolve any issues that arise Manage and make decisions related to the performance of work related to scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control and trade employee staffing Oversee work among all trades to promote and coordinate project operations.

Manage labor relations with subcontractors; Ensure all necessary permits and inspections are in place and kept current for the term of the project. Acting as liaison to inspection agencies; Provide percent complete status for billing process as it relates to Work-In-Place (WIP) Manage the work to ensure that it is installed in compliance with and conforms to the approved contract documents.

Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, architects, and engineers Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports and progress updates Identify and address potential risks or delays to keep projects on track Qualifications: 8+ years of experience Proven experience managing construction projects from start to finish Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.

Leadership and communication skills to manage teams and stakeholders Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to take action confidently. Adapt to new processes and new ways of looking at old problems. Proficient in Procore, Microsoft Project, Excel, and Bluebeam.

Thorough knowledge and understanding of the documents, drawings, specifications, construction means, methods and materials.
