Senior Backend Engineer (.NET / Azure) Requirements: Must Have: 5+ years of .NET backend development experience, including 3+ years building REST APIs with ASP.NET Core Strong experience with Azure cloud services at a senior level Hands-on experience with AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) Experience designing and supporting scalable applications, including horizontal and vertical scaling strategies Strong knowledge of Azure Service Bus, including Topics and Queues Experience with Azure DevOps Experience with Azure App Services Experience with Azure SQL Server Strong experience designing and developing REST and gRPC services REST for external integrations gRPC for internal service-to-service communication Experience implementing authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth2, and Azure Entra ID Experience with Redis caching solutions (Redis Cache and in-memory caching) Experience with Managed Identities in Azure Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Azure Application Insights or Datadog Strong unit testing experience Experience designing APIs and backend platforms Experience working in Agile environments Strong understanding of cloud architecture and microservices design patterns such as Saga, Circuit Breaker, API Gateway, Strangler Pattern, Outbox Pattern, Competing Consumers, and Orchestration vs.

Qube Advanced experience with C# and .NET 8+ Strong async/await, LINQ, and dependency injection expertise Experience upgrading applications to modern .NET versions Experience documenting solutions using ADRs, C4 Models, architecture diagrams, Confluence, or draw.io Experience with Azure Boards, Jira, Trello, GitLab, Bitbucket, or Azure Repos AWS S3 exposure Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and microservices on Azure Build and optimize REST and gRPC APIs for internal and external consumers Design cloud-native solutions leveraging AKS, Azure Service Bus, Azure App Services, and Azure SQL Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using Entra ID, OAuth2, and JWT Define and implement caching, monitoring, and observability strategies Collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions Apply microservices and distributed system design patterns to solve complex business challenges Develop and maintain automated tests and ensure code quality standards Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to technical decision-making Mentor team members and promote engineering best practices Required Languages English: Advanced Spanish: Fluent or Native Location Mexico Additional Notes Candidates should be able to clearly explain architectural decisions and implementation details, especially around AKS, Azure Service Bus, Entra ID, authentication flows, scalability strategies, and microservices patterns.
