Revenue Protection Coord Sr (grade 6)

Job Posting End Date 11-04-2026 Please note the job posting will close on the day before the posting end date Job Summary Responsible for the coordination of detection activities associated with unbilled revenue, including theft of service, while protecting the image of the New AEP. Job Description What You'll Do: Analyze market data to identify geographical locations for potential customer base involved in energy theft.

Perform effective daily field audits to investigate and document theft. Assist in training new Revenue Protection Coordinators; provide and coordinate training internal departments to identify theft of service as well as associated policies and procedures. Prepare back billing and establish payment plans with customers.

Develop reports and communicate results to supervisor to quantify productivity. Assist in fraud investigations and represent AEP in court as needed. Communicate and develop rapport with internal/external customers and agencies.

What We Are Looking For

Education

Associates degree or equivalent four years experience performing field related work activities. Work Experience requirement listed below: Perform as Revenue Protection Coordinator a minimum of three years' experience. Knowledge of theft of service laws. Knowledge of Fair Debt Act desirable. Working knowledge of current customer system and PC skills.

Knowledge of accounting/billing experience. Required License(s)/Certification(s) are listed below: Must have excellent safety record and a valid driver's license. Compensation

SP20-007 Compensation Range: $74,551.00 - $93,188.00 The Physical Demand Level for this job is: M – Medium Work: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
