Family Services Specialist III - Okdhs Only

THIS POSITION IS OPEN TO CURRENT OKDHS EMPLOYEES ONLYThis position is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.Family Services Specialist IIIAnnual Salary: H14C $44,272.80 + Full State Employee Benefits. Travel is occasional. Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain required car insurance.This is a full-time position in an office setting and will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Minimum Qualifications:Education and Experience requirements consist of:A master’s degreeOR a bachelor’s degree and one (1) year of experience in professional social workOR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one (1) year of experience in professional social work for each year of the bachelor’s degreeOR three (3) years of experience as a Family Services Specialist Job Responsibilities.

Incumbents perform at the specialist level, where employees are designated as the lead workers or backup supervisors to lower-level employees, or are responsible for carrying a complex and difficult caseload.

Responsibilities include

assigning caseloads, providing training in caseload principles and practices, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations as well as agency policy and procedures. Some incumbents may be embedded with community partners to remove barriers to access. Incumbents assigned to this level may coordinate an interdisciplinary treatment team; may be assigned multiple county- or district-wide responsibilities for the provision of social services and may act as a project director.
