Facility Maintenance Associate (Cleaning Facility)

Position Summary

The Facilities Maintenance Associate cleans all office areas, production areas, rest rooms and outside areas in an efficient and safe manner Position responsibilities: Properly clean and empty trash in all office areas throughout the facility Properly clean all production area floors throughout the facility Properly sanitize and clean all restrooms throughout the facility Clean, sanitize, and remove trash as needed from all canteen areas in the facility Strip and refinish floors on a semi-annual basis Perform outside maintenance of the facility as needed (trimming, mowing, etc…) Maintains good housekeeping in work area Follows all safety procedures and policies and advises supervisor of any unsafe conditions Any other duties as requested by supervisor Essential Skills and Experience: Must have general knowledge of chemicals and how to read and understand SDS sheets 1 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks Excellent communication skills Strong team player Commitment to company values Education requirements: HSD/GED Travel Requirements: N/A Reporting to this position: N/A Physical demands and work environment: The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
