Fabricator

Sims-Lohman is hiring granite fabricators with previous experience to work at our North Canton, Ohio location. We have first shift available. 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include

• Trim, scrape or polish countertops or parts, using hand grinders and equipment
• Verify quality of finished countertops by inspecting them, comparing them to templates or measuring their dimensions
• Operate fabrication machinery to cut counter tops
• Operate overhead crane to load, unload, and move granite slabs Qualifications - 6+ months' experience fabricating countertops highly preferred, and/or 1+ years' experience general industrial experience using hand grinder or polisher.
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools including hand grinders and hand routers
• Ability to read shop drawings and use a tape measure
• Ability to work with heavyweight -Ability to use an overhead crane -Ability to multi-task between shop needs
