Job Summary

We are seeking friendly and reliable substitute teachers for our preschool and pre-k classrooms. Our Ideal candidate will have some classroom experience, along with a positive, flexible, and ready-to-learn attitude. Substitute Teachers will support the Lead and Assistant Teachers, working as a team to implement positive, nurturing, and stimulating activities that meet the developmental needs of the students and contribute to overall classroom management.

Responsibilities

Collaboration with Lead and Assistant Teacher and other staff members. Follow a consistent classroom routine. Classroom management. Develop positive relationships with students and families. Application Requirements: Current TB test (within one year). Cleared background check. Completed CPR, first aid, food handlers permit, and bloodborne pathogens training. 30 STARS hours or educational exemption, within 6 months of hire.

Have a meaningful and personal relationship with God. Ability to discern needs and respond appropriately, sensitively, and proactively. High degree of professionalism. Be available for substitute hours between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Pay range
