Piece-Rate Warehouse Order Picker

Position Summary

We are seeking dependable, hardworking Warehouse Order Pickers for a fast-paced piece-rate picking operation. Employees are paid based on the number of cases accurately picked and completed. This position is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, takes pride in working efficiently, and wants the opportunity to increase their earnings through strong performance.

Key Responsibilities

Pick the correct products and quantities according to assigned orders. Stack cases neatly, securely, and logically on pallets. Maintain pallet stability and protect products from damage. Verify product numbers, quantities, and order details for accuracy. Move completed pallets to the designated staging area. Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.

Follow all warehouse procedures and safety requirements. Maintain consistent productivity without sacrificing accuracy or quality. Physical Requirements Ability to walk approximately 20,000 or more steps per shift . Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday. Ability to regularly handle products weighing between 1 and 10 pounds .

Ability to occasionally handle products weighing between 10 and 20 pounds . Ability to safely move loaded pallets using approved material-handling equipment.

Qualifications

No specific warehouse experience or education is required. Successful candidates must have: A strong work ethic and dependable attendance. Excellent attention to detail. The ability to work efficiently and maintain a consistent pace. The ability to follow written and verbal instructions. A commitment to accuracy, quality, and workplace safety.

The ability to work independently in a performance-based environment.

Compensation

Structure This is a piece-rate position , meaning earnings are determined by the number of qualifying cases accurately picked and completed. Employees who work efficiently and accurately can earn at the higher end of the anticipated $15–$35 per-hour equivalent range . All compensation, minimum-wage protections, and overtime calculations will be administered in accordance with applicable federal and state wage-and-hour requirements.
