Accountant / Sr. Accountant

As a key member of the Financial Services Department, the Accountant/Sr. Accountant works under the Finance Director to support the department's responsibilities, focusing on accounting, budgeting, and grants management. This role includes overseeing capital budgeting, audits, strategic planning, financial analysis, and reporting in line with Governmental Accounting standards in these areas.

Additionally, the Accountant/Sr. Accountant coordinates citywide grant programs, serving as a liaison between the City of Navasota and granting agencies. Related tasks may be assigned as needed.
