Endoscopy Technician

What You Will Do

(Job Summary): The Endoscopy Technician assists the Endoscopy team during endoscopy procedures. They arrange and set-up for upper endoscopies and colonoscopies, and work closely with the doctor at the bedside to assist during the endoscopy procedure. Assists in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning/stocking the endoscopy room.

The Endoscopy Tech also alternates between being a tech in the procedure room with the cleaning of scopes on alternating schedules. The Endoscopy Tech is responsible for the provision of care to meet identified patient outcomes and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed.
