• New World Ashburton Full-Time We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Bakery Assistant Manager to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is ready to move into leadership for the first time, or who has some supervisory experience and is looking to build on it. Whether you're an experienced baker wanting to develop your people leadership skills, or a retail team member looking for more responsibility, we'd love to hear from you. Working closely with the Bakery Manager, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day success of the department. You'll help lead the team, maintain high standards, support production and merchandising, and deliver an outstanding experience for our customers. This is a hands-on role that requires early starts, teamwork, initiative, and a passion for great food.

What we're looking for

Bakery, retail, supermarket, hospitality, or customer service experience. Leadership or supervisory experience is an advantage but not essential. A positive attitude and willingness to learn. Someone who enjoys working alongside and supporting others. Strong organisational and communication skills. The confidence to take ownership and make decisions.

A genuine desire to grow into a leadership role and build a long-term career. Flexibility to work early mornings and additional hours when required. Days & Hours of Work: Tuesday to Saturday - 40 hours per week What's in it for You?
