Auto Body Technician – Commercial Trucks Industrial Power Truck & Equipment Experienced in automotive collision repair? Bring your skills, we’ll teach you trucks. Industrial Power Truck & Equipment is hiring an experienced body technician for our commercial truck body shop. You’ll work on a variety of collision repairs, truck bodies, and equipment installations in our 18-bay facility with a 50-foot paint booth.
Commercial truck experience is welcome, but it is not required. If you have solid automotive body repair skills and want to expand your abilities, we want to hear from you. Pay, Schedule, and Benefits Pay: $30–$50 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Pay structure: Base pay plus Production incentives Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
Saturdays and overtime : Overtime available and rotating Saturdays Health insurance. 401(k) with company match. Paid time off. What You’ll Do Disassemble and reassemble vehicles; repair and replace damaged body panels and components. Perform collision repairs on commercial truck cabs and bodies. Repair fiberglass and metal panels and prepare repaired surfaces for refinishing.
Repair or replace truck box roofs, side panels, corner caps, radius panels, floors, and roll-up doors. Perform welding, fabrication, body swaps, and liftgate repairs or installations as your skills develop. Follow repair plans, document completed work on repair orders, and maintain a safe, organized work area. You do not need experience with every type of repair listed above .
Bring strong body repair fundamentals, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. We’ll provide training on commercial truck repairs and equipment. What We’re Looking For Required: Previous hands-on automotive or commercial truck body repair experience. Ability to perform quality body repairs and disassembly/reassembly work.
Reliable attendance, safe work habits, and a willingness to work with the team. Careful workmanship and pride in completing repairs correctly. Helpful, but not required: Commercial truck, RV, or truck box repair experience. Welding and fabrication skills. Fiberglass repair experience. Liftgate installation or repair experience.
I-CAR training or certification. Tools: Most basic auto body tools to complete your repairs in a timely and professional manner. Why Industrial Power?
