Preschool Child Care Provider

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children in all activities and environments.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and play activities.
• Assist children with basic needs, including meals, hygiene, and rest periods.
• Promote positive interactions and help children develop social skills.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress and needs.
• Follow preschool policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations and meeting the minimum standards as required by the State of Texas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Child Development Associate (CDA) or Early Childhood Education certificate preferred.
• Previous experience working with young children in a child care or preschool setting.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for early childhood education.
• Ability to pass background checks and provide references. Work Schedule & Compensation This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with occasional opportunities for overtime or special events. Competitive hourly wage based on experience and qualifications.
