Front Desk / Asset Protection Associate
Job description
The Front Desk / Asset Protection Associate is responsible for maintaining a secure and professional environment by managing visitor access, monitoring security systems, and supporting daily front desk operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to identify and respond to safety and security concerns.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk Duties: Greet and assist employees, guests, and vendors in a professional and friendly manner Answer and route phone calls, take messages, and provide general information Maintain visitor logs and issue badges as needed Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries Keep the front office area tidy and presentable at all times Asset Protection Duties: Monitor surveillance cameras and security systems Conduct routine walkthroughs of the facility to identify and report safety concerns or unusual activity Enforce access control policies and ensure only authorized personnel are allowed in restricted areas Support emergency response protocols and report incidents promptly Assist with loss prevention efforts and collaborate with management on security improvements Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required Preferably at least 2 years of experience in front desk, security, or asset protection roles Strong communication and conflict resolution skills Reliable, observant, and detail-oriented Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations Basic computer proficiency and comfort with surveillance technology Additional safety or tech training is a plus and may qualify for a higher pay rate Schedule: Sunday – Thursday |10:00 PM - 6:30 AM Compensation: $19-$21 (+$1/hr due to shift differential) Starting pay is competitive and based on experience.
