Key Responsibilities

To assist and co-ordinate the drafting of all legal documentation required for new projects in consultation with senior legal counsel and company lawyers Coordinate with lawyers and company secretaries in order to ensure legal documentation for the incorporation of companies, application for Board of Investment (BOI) approvals Actively assist in establishing good corporate governance practices for the MAS group, coordinating and following through on good governance practices Provide legal advice to the MAS SBU’s on general employment related issues and current statutory requirements in Sri Lanka Educating the business on the fundamentals of Corporate Governance and current policies and procedures in place Qualifications, Experience, Skill, and Competencies: Graduate in LLB & Professional Qualification (Legal Background) Must be an Attorney at Law 1 - 2 years of experience in a similar work environment desirable.

Capable of analyzing and thinking conceptually Experience in company secretarial work and drafting and reviewing legal documents. Knowledge of labor laws preferred Good interpersonal relationship skills
