We are currently seeking dependable Unarmed Security Officers to support client sites across the District of Columbia. Where you'll work This position serves client locations throughout the Washington, DC area, including retail stores, shopping centers, office buildings, and similar venues. Officers are assigned based on operational needs, and specific worksites may change between assignments. We are seeking officers who can reliably work at sites within and around the District.

Responsibilities

Maintain a steady, visible presence that deters theft, vandalism, and unauthorized entry Control and monitor entrances, exits, and other access points Greet and assist visitors, employees, and members of the public in a courteous manner Patrol assigned interior and exterior areas on foot throughout the shift De-escalate disputes and manage disruptive behavior in a composed manner Document incidents and complete clear daily activity reports Notify site management and, when warranted, local authorities of emergencies Requirements Possess or be able to obtain the security officer credential required for the applicable work location — Washington DC (MPD Security Officer license), Virginia (DCJS unarmed registration), or Maryland (Security Guard certification through our licensed agency).
