What You'll Be Doing As a Residential Install Plumber, you'll be responsible for installing and replacing a variety of residential plumbing systems and equipment. You'll use your technical expertise and customer service skills to deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality solutions.

Your responsibilities

Installing water heaters, water conditioning equipment, well pumps, sewage pumps, and other residential plumbing systems. Completing installation projects independently or as part of an installation team. Following our established Nexstar Service System and procedures on every appointment. Arriving on time, maintaining accurate time records, and communicating effectively with dispatch and customer service.

Working closely with our customer service and dispatch teams to ensure overall customer satisfaction. Maintaining clean, organized job sites and properly stocked service vehicles. Participating in company training, morning meetings, and ongoing professional development. Accurately and promptly ordering all necessary parts for return work.

Reporting completed jobs, sold work, and unserved opportunities to the Department Supervisor. Taking ownership of your work and ensuring every installation meets our standards for quality, safety, and workmanship.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who takes ownership of their work and understands that quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction go hand in hand. Required Qualifications & Skills: Valid driver's license. Journeyman Plumbing License preferred, or equivalent hands-on plumbing experience. Knowledge of residential plumbing systems, building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, instructions, and rough drawings. Ability to independently complete installation projects. Strong understanding of plumbing materials and piping systems, including PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper. Proficient in basic mathematics and measurement conversions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills. Professional appearance, positive attitude, and customer-focused personality.
